Ski Season Insurance Benefits

Benefits of the Ski and Wintersports policy include the following.

Medical Expenses
Medical insurance is provided to cover hospital stays or treatment in clinics, etc due to ski or snowboard accidents. You have access to a 24 hour emergency helpline and the cover includes medical emergency repatriation.

Ambulance Costs
If you injure yourself on the slopes you will be covered for the cost of an ambulance to take you off the mountainside and to hospital.

Cancellation / Curtailment
You are covered if you have to cancel your trip or holiday or come home early due to a variety of reasons such as: the sickness or illness of a relative, someone you are travelling with or the person you are staying with; redundancy; house damage or jury service.

Personal Baggage
You are covered for the value of lost, stolen or damaged personal possessions and travel documents and for baggae delay. Personal Money is also covered.

Ski and Snowboard Equipment

The following activities are NOT covered:

Work related skiing or snowboarding, (e.g. instructor, lift operator, etc.) Off-Piste skiing & snowboarding in areas designated as unsafe by resort management; skiing & snowboarding against local authorative warning or advice; ski stunting; free-style skiing & snowboarding.
